WASHINGTON, DC, August 15, 2025 – CORE architecture + design is pleased to announce the promotion of Kassandra Bishop to Senior Designer, recognizing her exceptional contributions to hospitality and interior design projects that embody CORE’s mission to create spaces with lasting impact.
Since joining CORE, Kassandra has brought a multidisciplinary approach to design, blending artistry and functionality to deliver spaces that elevate the guest experience. Her portfolio spans high-end residential, retail, commercial, and restaurant environments, with a specialty in hospitality-driven interiors that balance style, purpose, and operational performance.

Kassandra has played a key role in notable projects including Maryland Club at the XFINITY Center, a members-only venue with elevated dining and lounge spaces; Silver Diner, a classic diner prototype refresh and adaptation at multiple locations; and Shia, a fine dining concept and culinary test lab in Washington, DC. Her work also includes scalable food and beverage prototypes for hotel brands such as Hilton and Sheraton, adaptable to multiple service models and locations worldwide.
As Senior Designer, Kassandra will take on an advanced role, leading design ideation in alignment with client goals, overseeing consultant collaboration, and guiding the production of detailed drawings that transform concepts into built realities. She will also continue to mentor junior designers, reinforcing CORE’s commitment to cultivating talent and delivering design excellence across all sectors.
