Senior Interior Designer

CORE architecture + design is looking for a  Senior Interior Designer to join our team. We seek a highly talented individual with 10+ years of experience in restaurant and hospitality projects. 

You are an expert in managing multiple, small to large scale projects at the same time and are experienced working directly with clients. You demonstrate advanced knowledge in working with multi-disciplinary teams to bring a project from concept to construction. You must have the ability to analyze complex programs, understand the owner’s brand and budget, and develop a compelling design concept that meets those requirements. You have advanced knowledge in developing design collateral to communicate the design successfully to the client. You must be experienced in managing and delegating to project team members and working closely with clients to create a project that exceeds expectations. You will be responsible for managing the selection of materials, furniture and fixtures with the project team. You will lead Construction Documentation and Administration efforts for your projects with team assistance and will be responsible for quality control.

Design and documentation are done in ArchiCAD and we are a MAC based office. Experience working in BIM software is a plus. 

We are in the office five days a week and feel it is especially important for a team leader to be present to lead project teams and provide exceptional client service.

 Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of work-related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Experience as lead designer or job captain on more than one project.
• Sustainability background preferred.
• NCIDQ preferred
• CAD experience, preferably ArchiCAD.
