CORE is in the punch list stage for four interim storefront library locations for the District of Columbia Public Library system. New interim sites in the Tenleytown, Anacostia, Benning Road and Shaw neighborhoods are preparing to open in the coming month, with all new layouts and a prototype design that will be the same for all four locations.

CORE completed all interior architecture and design for the new libraries, designed to function with a retail-oriented appearance, flow, service model and design for all ages. Each location is a approximately 4,000 sf, with modular units on site for all but the Tenleytown library, located in the ground floor of a mixed-use building.
